Another 1.04 Server

<div class="IPBDescription">The other went down.</div> Its up again according to the ALL SEEING EYE and seeing as its been up for several days I'm bumping this, I'm working under the assumption that it is the same IP, if not just relax the filter settings and find it.

I put up a thread in OT because a lot of the people there don't check Gemeral Discussion but would play if they knew. The old GD thread started on a different premise and I highly doubt many people would go through all three pages to find my post (below).

you just need client 1 but servers need the 1.04 patch.




The old one probably died because noone wanted to wait an hour for someone to join, ergo we need a significant number of people to keep it fairly active. I'll be there for a while.

excellent. I've been trying to play 2.01 for nostalgic value lately, but it's nothing but hackers and 13 year olds. Nothing is funnier (or should I say pathetic) than seeing a 13 year old command, yelling through the voice com with his high pitched voice calling everyone **** and building turret farms around every RT.

So this will no doubt be better than that crap.

for some reason, it's telling me I need HL 1.1.1.0, which I have, to install 1.0. I cannot play it, and I am sad.

I have 1.04 installed but when I try to connect (with HLSW) it brings up the console but no text comes onto it

It should be legal to download and burn yourself a new Half-Life CD since you've bought the game.
