Corrupted Graphics

Whenever I look at the hive, in certain places pieces will be missing. This happens only with the HL engine. When playing CS, I also get invisible chickens on cs_italy, or just pieces of the head of the chicken missing. This happens with no other models that I have seen except the Hive and the chickens in CS.

I have updated my drivers for my video card and this issue still occurs, I run a Radeon 9800XT with the Catalyst 4.4 drivers. I have updated since version 3.x and this issue has always been present. Here is some images to show you what it looks like....

Picture 2

Anyone got any ideas whatsoever?

Have you tried bumping up your resolution? It looks awfully low judging by those pictures.

I took the pictures in 640x480 so that the size of the pictures wouldn't be so large.... but yeah 1280x1024 is the normal res that I play at....

What are your system's specs (such as graphics card, OS, Mobo, etc.)?

I have had this same problem with both my Radeon 9800's (laptop and desktop). The OBS is the best, with this warpedbowl thingy. I use openGL, and you have to lower some settings to get it to work. I disabled triple buffering and z-buffer depth. I set AA and AF to application preference. I use detail textures (found here: http://hem.bredband.net/congal/temp/DetTex_pack.zip), and run at 1280x800 (widescreen laptop) and 1280x1024 (desktop) with no anomolies and great visuals!

My control panel doesn't have z-buffer depth or triple buffering. I can't even use the built-in overclocker... It's non-existant.

Edit: just checked it does, but they both were already off....
