This is just the marinestart tock me about 2 hours! I´ll maybe rename the map this was the first name in mentioned!

    Good for a first attempt. However still a fair amount of room for improvement.

    Some examples:

    -Your lights are blue, but give off white light. Also, if you're using light entities, texlights would be a better choice.

    -Make the computers glow or at least some of them, it will make them look like they're actually working computers and not pretty decals on the walls.

    -The texturing of the floor looking very bad. Having a single texture repeated over and over, and having that particular texture (the metal plates intesecting with objects in the room, looks bad. Add some variation.

    Nice first attempt, the architecture and most of the texturing looks fairly good.

    Nice texture placement, and it seems really good for your first map.

    the post before me has pretty much summed it up.

    Although..

    Try and create more character around the comm chair, make it an attraction, maybe by texture placement, light values, or even architecture changes.

    The comm chair is the most important aspect at the Marine start, it needs good positioning. At the mo it just looks like its been slapped in the middle.

    Still, looking promising.
