<div class="IPBDescription">Is It Possible? Have A Read.</div> After some tinkering in the Windows Registry,
I found out why I was getting weird flickering
lines when I launched WarCraft 3.
It was setting the Refresh Rate to 75. Which
my crappy Monitor simply won't allow <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
It'll let me have 60.... no more, and no less.
Which is usually fine by me, as long as my games
play at a playable level.
But every now and then the value will reset itself
to the default (75) and i'm forced to quit WarCraft 3,
go into Regedit, find the right value, change it, re-launch
WarCraft 3.

So does anyone know of a way of locking this value
or of something I can add to the WarCraft 3 command
line ?

dunno, but there are programs out there to lock your refresh rate. a lot of drivers do it built in now too. I know nvidia's does.

Remove the 'Full Control' permission from the registry key for all listed users.

Um, what sort of archaic monitor doesn't support a refresh rate of 75?

Heh no idea. It used to be fine before my GeForce FX 5600 went in.
Maybe it is something to do with the nVidia control panel settings.
I just don't want to alter anything in there.
Might be something to do with the tweak tool called NVHardPage
that i'm using. But that's a great little program so i'm willing
to make the odd sacrifice here and there for it.

    THINGS TO BUY:
