Bsp Optimizer Before Hlrad

<div class="IPBDescription">what would happen</div> This is a question i would like to ask what would happen if the bsp optimiser was run before hlrad ??

As the bsp optimiser removes unnessary planes from the bsp if it was ran before hlrad would this speed up compile time or would this just produce errors in hlrad???

currently the compile process runs like this
vis
hlrad
optimiser

could we make the compile process run like this
vis
optimiser
hlrad

I'm pretty sure it knows which faces are visible(i.e. inside the world) and remove all other faces but retain unnessecary planes which are not the same as world polygons that need to be lit. I don't think you gain anything by doing this. XP-Cagey should know for sure.

With the newest version of opt_plns, you can run it after bsp without it having any affect on vising or hlrad.
