Used the dvd cover as reference for this (http://www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/Poster-UK-theatrical.JPG), what a great film
Theres quite a few problems with this pic, one his arms are far too short, he's too thin (although thats more a style thing) and worst of all his face doesn't look that much like preston (he needs smaller eyes moved more to the centre of his face and a smaller nose. Plus some pencil smudging makes it look like he has a 5 o'clock shadow ). Other than that i think i did pretty well, i don't normally shade in pencil.

But what's up with those wrinkles in his clothes? I mean, he would have looked fine without them, but since you put wrinkles in, it feels like it should have more wrinkle...
No. They're nothing a like.
Awesome picture though.
Basicly, the forumula is; Classic Story + The Matrix + something cool/new = Good action movie
ie; 1984 + The Matrix + Gun Kata = Equilibrium

equilibrium: little or no use of colour, very dark and almost no emotions, final guy gets his face cut off, takes 2 seconds to drop.

Ijust NEEEED to know, how do you do those shiny effects on his clothing? (colored one)
Thank you all.... *EDIT*
He highlighted it and then for the uber shine, Create some white lines using the brush (Size 10-14) and blur it to hell.
