firstly im getting a LA king hockey shirt.. with Knuckles on the back <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> but yeah i ordered xxl.. then i realised.. it means usa xxl? which has gonna be hauge? cos i got a mate who plays hockey.. 200 lbs... and 5'11 and he wears medium. :/

also.. ok im after some REALLY baggy pants...

so i go lookin.. and i find they range from size 28-40... now correct me if im wrong.. but a fair share of americans are over 40 inches waist? so the size chart has to be different right?

like a 40 being huge or something? somebody clarify please...

cos i dont wanna order 40's and have then fit my whole family..

    XXL Is realy friken big.

    I weight 210 and am around 5'11''
I wear Lg - XL And thats b/c I like my cloathes realy baggy.

    As for pants...
    well inches are inches.
If your waist is 40 inches, thats what you need.
And no, people who have over 40 inch wastes have to shop either in specialty sections of stores or specialty stores.

Also, all cloathing companies are slightly different. a 38-30 (around what I wear) will be great from one company, and not work from another, smae with sm-m-lg-xl-xxl)

Oh, and please remember that most americans are not that fat, it still is a minority.

    dude

apart from the other thread running atm.. its a common point ok... my point was... there is enough fat americans to make having larger then 40 a viable idea.. hence why i was wondering...

cos i need some uber huge baggy jeans.. dont start gettin all antsy.. its a fair point to make

    thats just my point

we realy are not all that fat.

Sizes above 40 are still a minority, and generaly kept in a seperate section.

Well, I wear a 32, I just get my pants baggy, waist size has nothing to do with baggyness, @ least in the USA.

Shirts I usually wear XL, but, yea, I like my clothes baggy...

I'm about 240 and 6'0" and I wear an XL t-shirt, it's semi-baggy and goes about halfway to my knees. Just as a reference point.

what size pants you wear C? if you dont mind me askin.. cos i want them to be uber baggy like the 'hip-hop' style where they are nearly falling off.. lol

again, size is not what matters if you want baggey.

Baggey is purly from the cut (as I said, Jinkos are compleatly out of style and incredibly baggy)

and if you get 8 sizes to large your pants are not going to stay on. If you want the 'I'm a stupid thug, see look here are my boxers' then get like 2-3 sizes to large (and I will mock you horribly)

I wear size 38 pants. They're not tight, but they're not incredibly baggy. Perfect for me.

the numbers aren't random, they're inches around the waist, so it should be the same in UK and US sizes I'm pretty sure...

can't believe no one mentioned this yet :>

but why are you ordering from the US anyway? if you have a particular style in mind why don't you just walk into a store and buy it? I mean, I know the US is a bigger place than the UK but I assumed you could find any style there you could get over here...

anyway as some people said already, the waist size only PARTIALLY matters when it comes to bagginess... look for ponce made to be baggy... and if you REALLY want the hip-hop poseur look, you can buy pants with fake boxers sewed in to hang out the top! takes all the guesswork out of dressing sloppily! wish I could find a pic but I don't know what they're called :>

    edit: oh. shush, thansal! =P
