    obs: move the middle "tube" into the center of the base, and then you can have the two holding rods rotate around inside that.. unless you move it side to side on the top little thing.

    i liked your older phase <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    you'll need to edit the TF if you want to have those pistons moving...

    phase and inf portal are a bit boring

    You know, the pipes not being attached to anything but the ground look very weird.

    Though it's nice to have a common theme across a set, I don't think in this case that having the phase so closely related to the ip is a good idea - the ip looks great, but the phase looks much too flat and the grooves look rather weird. I'd go for something more like the old phase if I were you.

    In fact, I don't think the grooves serve any purpose other than inflating the polycount in either the ip or the phase - whatever goes there might as well just be skinned on - save the polys for more noticeable external details.

    nice.

    put a ring or sumpthing on the inside because it looks a bit flat and boring

    those tubes seem to twist around for no reason, I suggest making them go straight out then down, like
    _
    .|

    and just put more of them to make it look more like something that the army would be using. So just I think its silly to have twisty curvy pipes, but perhaps I am missing something?

    they arent realy pipes they are more like flexible tubes i did it like that so it looks like the buildings are drawing power from parts of the map so its like they are plugged into the floor

    here is the ip 530 polies
    i tried to keep it the same style as the phase gate because to me a IP is a mini version of the phasegate

    id make the pivots in the pipetoobs a bit more soft. they look unnatural. think how gravity would affect them, and make them flow

    pretty sweet man, BUT MINE ARE BETTER! lol, just kidding. these are pretty damn sweet, i like how they are supposed to draw power from the map.
