Manual?

Is there a manual? And where can I find it? I looked at the main page, and if there is one, then it is difficult to find. I want to learn the basics, especially of playing NS maps since I am a total noob to those. If there is one it should be a link on the main page, if not at least here in the newbies forum... Well most of those just 404 for me for some reason, damn dead links.....
