Steam Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">Probs /w 2 machines with router on steam</div> Hey, proberly not where i should post this but the steam forums wont let me register never mind post lol.

Any one have any idea why when am playing on natural-selection and my bro opens steam on his comp i time out of serv and altho i can ping servs am unable to join any of them. yet he can play on counter-strike with only mild lag caused by me trying to get on server again :/

I dont understand why i carnt use 2 comps on network to play on steam :/ we using difftrent accounts and even have diff cd-keys even tho steam dont seem to require em.

Any help any one can provoide would be greatly appriciated.

    My brother and I are on a router and we play steam at the same time fine..

    Steam doesn't like it when two steam IDs have the same IP address.

    ya my mates got same router and plays cs with 2 steam accounts fine :/
