<div class="IPBDescription">"Your Natural Selection executable...."</div> Alright, just recently I updated my OS from Windows ME to Windows XP. Natural Selection worked fine on ME, however, when I changed to XP Half-life and all of its mods ceased to open for me. I then decided to reinstall everything in the hope that it would solve my problems. I uninstalled Half-life and all the mods (including NS) and I used my CS Retail CD to load CS back up again (sucessfully). Once CS was loaded I installed Natural Selection 2.0 and everything seemed to be working fine untill I went to actually play. When I went into internet play I got a "Your Natural Selection executable is out of date. Natural Selection will now update to the current version" message. NS of course didn't update anything. I thought that my problem might lie with the fact that my copy of cs retail is quite old and hadn't been updated so I downloaded the CS 1.5 update, which in turn wouldn't install...it stated that it had to be installed into the same folder as CS (which I was trying to do). So ultimately I cannot update my CS and my NS isn't working...
If anyone could shed some light on the situation it would be greatly apreciated.

Check the frontpage under downloads, for the different version available of NS. 3.0 beta 3 is currently the latest, and used by most servers.
if that dosn't do it there is a posibility that you need to patch 2.0 ussing the server patch (there were some errors with that)
