Messed Up Sound In Winex 3.3

Hey guys... i would just like to point out that NS beta 3 does not install in WineX 3.3, although it does install fine in Wine. secondly, i got NS 3 in WineX 3.3, but the only problem is that the .wav files dont play right.... sometimes its okay, but then it stops playing. but the .mp3s play nicly. this was not the case in Wine20031212. is there a way to fix this or should i install steam again in Wine?

    Wine sorta has a tendency to work realy friken wierdly if at all.

    Honestly I would just suggest going back to Wine (my rule of thumb that I learned for Wine and games is that if it works DON'T TOUCH IT! we have had an install of wine sudenly decide to stop working with 1/2 our games and start working with the other 1/2 that had not been working for a year or so......)
