To add fun to the game when marines are down to just a commchair it should go into BATTLE_MODE just to see how well the dude can do:
<ul><li>gatling gun</li><li>some form of terminator 3000</li><li>little jet turbines like on a harrier jumpjet</li></ul>
Because you wouldn't add a tank and this is the closest we can get without ruining it really.

Nah, the marine endgame is already fun enough, give the alien hive the ability to transform into a bacterial mat of death, hurting and slowing down anything on it within a 10000 unit radius on the map.

I think that the way to balance NS is to set it up as follows:
<sarcasm>Whenever you frag someone, you get automatically fragged yourself.

That way, even if one team is skilled stacked, all have even chances! That would so rock!</sarcasm>
