Just sharing an incredible resource
On a whim inspired by a history class, I went off in search of a detailed history of socialism. Then I was blown away by the depth of what I found, and the material is quite fascinating.

I just wanted to share, as it contains information that would be useful to future political discussions.

What about Ralph Naderism.... He's quite communistic :-p

Actually, not a bad read, very detailed and provided insight, I suggest it to the rest of you.

In the sense of "wanting to migrate power toward the worker class," yes, he is communistic in ideals. Much more socialistic in practice, however.

Actually, I listened to Nader speak at NCSU about two weeks ago. The most amusing thing he said was, "If you're worried that I'll be taking votes away from the Democrats, then vote for Kerry!" (followed by laughter and applause). He also interesting things to say about the influence of corporations on politics, drug policy reform, and plenty of other good stuff that I'm not about to remember at 8 AM.

The man is second only to Dennis Kucinich when it comes to platforms, in my opinion.

I didn't originally expect a discussion to go directly with the info (and thus OT), but I certainly wouldn't refuse one.
