Has There Ever Been A Perfect Murder?
<div class="IPBDescription">ya know like ya know?</div> Most people who commit murder these days are eventually caught, since our technology is much more sophisticated then that of..hmmm....lets say, the 50's. But I'd like to know if you can commit murder in this day and age and not get caught. Would you have to be extremely clever and smart to pull it off?

If you have no witnesses, no evidence and no motive, there would be no legal way to lock you up, because it wouldn't be provable that you did it.
Leaving no evidence of yourself is incredibly hard though. No motive could be hard too, since you'd generally have to kill someone you never met far from where you live - that in itself would be suspicious, so getting no witnesses would be even harder.
Technically you could do it...but in actual use it'd be quite hard to accomplish.
So don't go kill anybody nubcake.
My thoughts exactly. Planning something?
Umm...yeah, I'm inclined to agree -- if you're trying to get a bit of starter info for a school research paper or debate, it probably would've calmed us down a bit to let us know. If it is, feel free to PM me and I'll re-open the thread.
Before locking this I think I'll go on a tangent into a happier topic. My idea for a perfect April Fools' joke would require renting a clown suit and mask, coupled with an ice cream truck rewired to loop through "Pop goes the weasel" at a speed directly proportional to the speed of the vehicle.
You didn't hear that from me.
