Clean Screenshots

Without HUD and such
Anyone know how to get screenshots without seeing health, ammo, model and sprites? I have a vague memory about some command that could do that, but I'm not sure if that was for H-L or some other game. The other way would be to set drawviewmodel (or whatever the command is, I can't remember) to 0 so no HUD is displayed, but that is not possible in NS since 2.0 (or was it 1.04?).

It was locked off in an earlier revision, when it was decided that a number of... less-than-honorable members of our little community were exploiting it while actually playing in games to enhance their visual scope.

Replace the lmg with a null model, same with hud sprites. Doesn't work with skulk bite tho.

I know why it was locked (I still think the concept of balancing a game based on visual annoyance is a bad idea).

It takes editing/replacing of sprites to transparent ones, and replacing models with null ones. The only things I've been unable to remove (so far) are the "+3.0" for res-for-kills, the ":" from a marines waypoint, and shotgun sparks/smoke. The death notices in the top right can also be removed, but I've left them in.

Here's an example from a demo I had lying around. BTW, both skulks ended up dead .

No, its a seperate nsp install used for movies/screenshots. As I said, this is from a demo...

"Before" picture... minimap is messed because of the demo.

Well, I usually find my good screenshots while playing. I'd very much like to be able to remove stuff from the screen temporarily.

Perhaps I could call it a suggestion (new command to combine screenshot and the drawviewmodel thingy), but I get the feeling it would, in the best possible scenario, be ignored.
