<div class="IPBDescription">When will it start ?</div>I was looking around some mods and found this cool mod named Annihlation. It's based on the future worldwar3, choose between the Chinorov Alliance or the Allied Nations and battle in realistic landscapes.     Saw this a while ago when I asked someone about it in mIRC. I will probably stay away from almost all mods with AK-47s for a long time to come; most just copy CS.

    I will definatly try it for the Sole reason that the Canadian Flag is the first one up on the page. Other than that the AK47 looks good unlike the CS one i had the get a replacement model (a very realistic AK47) to hide it...

    He wasn't looking around for a mod...he's the PR guy. I quit the mod because it's basically just a CS clone and half of the staff members are immature idiots.

    That's why.  Also, please use the edit button rather than double posting.  And might I suggest submitting to Half-Life news sites rather than posting on other mod's boards?  You'll definatley get more attention by doing the former.  And some people don't like you posting about your mods here, although I don't have a huge problem with it.

    Looks cool. As for a real ww3- won't happen for a while. In order for there to be a world war, you need multiple powers on global scale in equal power. Right now, the US is so far ahead of every nation that it is impossible. China is trying to become a super power, but its closed markets prevent the economic power neccesary to control the world. Their army, while a match for the US in 1972, is outdated and old, whereas the US army had new techonology. Russia in too much economic trouble and social unrest to start a war, plus they are busy with Checnya. And PootiePoot and Bush are buddies. (Watch: Russia will support the Iraq move of the US is Bush allows Russia freedom in dealing with Chechnya).

    Of course, Nukes are the great equalizer. Honestly, while a Nuke strike against the US would destroy it, it wouldn't destroy our military. Anyone who hits us would get hit back and then some.
