    Open them with paint and save the .bmp files as .jpeg - that will often shrink the file to less than 120K.

    It's blue. It's red. It's green. You really need to tone down the lighting as it's washing out everything, from the atmosphere to the architecture itself.

    Also, use a more neutral colour shuch as white or light yellow as your main light source, with reds, blues and greens etc being the supporting lighting.

    Since i havent downloaded the actual map yet i cant comment on the layout instead ill just comment on the pics.

    First off try an add a little diversity to yurr lighting instead of just one intense light

    an secondly add detail to the level, there are alot of flat walls and ceilings in there.

    Throw in a few pipes now an again or a cpu console to add a lil spice to the level <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Apart from the obvious 'Travolta' Lighting system, try adding rims etc, this helps create boldness and emphasis to the architecture that its framing.

    e.g. the glass roof on the third pic. Its a good idea, encorporating natural light..but
    add some nice rims..or pipes like previously stated.

    It will improve it ahell of alot.

    Keep it up.

    OMG no! this is too much like an disco-raveroom. RED, GREEN AND HEAVY MARINE BLUE COLORS DONT FIT IN ONE PLACE ON THE MAP. NO!

    srry but no it's ugly <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    well only the lighting saturation is to high... But for a <i>first</i> map (looking trough the heavy colored lighting) its looks ok... However not only fix them lights a little but also some texture alignments (2nd screenshot)

    [edit]
    judging by the screenshots btw, havent actually walked arround in it, maybe I'll do that later on <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
