I found a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2's and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X's soundtracks at my local retail store for something around $2.00-$5.00.

I see you have Tristram from Diablo II - that is a lovely little track - lots of layered guiter work.

Half-lifes music is pretty good. I like quake 2 music as well and the homeworld 1 and 2 music is worth mentioning too.

I agree. When the flood first came I was actually scared because of the music. I also love the battle music. The start of the "Silent Cartographer" plays it

I'd have to nominate the Painkiller soundtrack. I've only heard the ones available for download from the site, but they are very nice

So, erm, does anyone know where I can get that Grim Fandango CD?

Sorry.
SNES music(and a few gameboy/NES games) is what I listen to all the time.
http://www.snesmusic.org
and
http://www.zophar.net <= beware the ads, but it has NES and GB music, which snesmusic.org doesn't.

Both of the above have music in .spc form and such, which sounds almost EXACTLY like it does in-game! It's way better than midis(an archive of many such: http://www.vgmusic.com/ ), and I have a ton of them.

And I also have a crapload of remixes from Overclocked Remix...
It goes on like this for about 3 pages, and then I have a Temp.rar which has an older stack of remixes that I don't listen to anymore. I even had to cut down the image because it was too large.

EDIT: yes, I did this just to pwn Doom.
