Marine vs marine & alien vs alien

Hi everyone, long time reader first time poster. I tried a search for this topic, but couldn't find one. I was just wondering if there can be a Marine team vs a Marine team or an Alien team vs an Alien team. While the game was meant to be played Marine vs Alien, I think it would be interesting if the game could be played with each combination. I don't really see an alien vs alien game being too fun though, but I think marine vs marine could get very interesting.

the only way I can see such a large free for all working is if there are 4 or 5 hive locations (maybe only 3) and either alien team can use any of the locations. But with so many teams, you are really bordering on entity overload. Think of all the buildings that will be put up as well... *Shudder*

How does it take away from teamplay if you have 3 enemies to worry about? You have to work together harder than ever.

It has been stated by Flayra in the past that there will never be more than 2 opposing teams on any map. It's just too complicated, and the benefit is not nearly worth the amount of time something like that would take.
