Voiceover Artist Oddities

Raiden..... Timon!??! etc etc
I cannot believe Raiden from MGS2 has Timon's voice. Nonononono. Or was Gollum in the LotR game. Ahhhh, they steals the precious Metal Gear, and WE WANTS IT BACK.
Not to mention Rosemary from MGS2 apparently being one of the Kelvins from "Battle Beyond the Stars"
He-man is............ Liquid Snake!!!! Does that make Faker Solid Snake?? He's also Simba, I hope that hurts your head.... and Flounder. Rocksteady from TMNT.
Revolver Ocelot as..... Elroy Jetson??!?!
Merlin from "Prince Valiant" used to be.... SKELETOR.
Eeyore is Optimus Prime.
Megatron is Fred and Scooby... and Malebolgia from Spawn.
And Zippy from Rainbow was a Dalek.
Can anyone reconcile these things in their brains? Can you ever play Metal Gear Solid 2 again, knowing that Raiden is really Timon??!?

I have a new found respect for animated stuffed animal donkeys
You're saying that the guy from MGS2 played a... mirkat? WTH.
Ow...
I need to take a few days off to consider the implications this could have for the world, and society in general.
Also, he is talking about the TV series, not the movie (for Timon)
Edit* Hmm, it says David Hayter was in the Xmen movie, now I got to watch that again to find him.

Actually, Hayter wrote the X-men movies. He wasn't in them.
Also, so-and-so was Simba? Simba was voiced by Jonathan Taylor Thomas (young) and Matthew Broderick (old). Unless you're talking about a sequel or TV series or something. I'll also second Zig's rebuttal, for the same reason.
On the same subject, the Deus Ex credits were really interesting. JC Denton and Paul Denton are the same guy, which I didn't realise, but so are a few others. It's interesting matching the names with the accents and seeing who was definately faking their accent and who has a name that sounds like they might be from where their character's from.

o.o.....
*runs around in circles chasing tail from confusion* o.o;;;
A lot of these guys have been in animes. I'm going to have to look through the credits of all my game manuals and look people up now.
Here's one, govenor Severus from Fire Warrior was in Equilibrium.
Argh, I spoilerised myself, apparently "Auron" has a voice part in FFX-2.
OMG, the same guy who was Kimhari and Wakka was also BENDER from futurama, ahahahaa!
And Jecht was Seargent Moody from Call of Duty.
And Squall (kingdom hearts) was David Boeanaz, a.k.a Angel.
This page is hours of pointless entertainment.
Minsc for Baldur's Gate is Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Dr Robotnik, Taz the tazmanian devil and Stalin and Barry in the Tick. Aswell as numerous voices in SWATkats, Spiderman and others.
Also, Megatron is Abu (The monkey) from Aladdin(!) and Baby Mario, Wario, Luigi and Kermit aswell as Slimer.
Another good place for VA credits
Minsc... Winnie the Pooh... AAAAAHAAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!
*breathe*
AHAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
"Rose, before I battle Solidus in an underwhelming final encounter, I just wanted to tell you.. Hakuna Mattata!"

Second, much as I hate to get one up on Coil (omg kick BANT BANT BANT)
Quinton Flynn
"Timon and Pumbaa" (1995) TV Series (voice) .... Timon
... aka "Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa, The" (1995)
The same series where Liquid Snake voices Simba.
There's room for only one Snake.... and ONE LION KING.
I just fired up Generals there and went a look. I can't believe I didn't notice that before. I think David Hayter also did Captain Planet.
