i microwave hot dogs. a minute on high in a powerful microwave won't explode it. unless you have a crappy hot dog. just make a lengthwise slit all the way down it, and you won't have any problems.

Boiled hot dogs are much plumper and have no chance of getting all micro-crusty.

The leftover water is some nasty stuff though, yuck.

I've got nothing against people trading cooking tips over the internet so we aren't stuck with our usual frozen microwavable dinners, but at least make a separate thread for it. Zig, you should know by now that you can test your avatar or sig image in the testing thread in our artwork forums.
