<div class="IPBDescription">Does this game have 16vs16 gaming?</div> I am wondering if this has 16vs16 gaming because I was reading the forum and all I saw was 6vs6 and 7vs7 and 8vs8 mentioned and I loved 16vs16 on CS and DoD.

    Yes, there are a few 32-man servers out there. The problem is NS:Classic is incredibly imbalanced at that large of the game; favoring the marines. 6v6 is the optimal size.

    I think 10vs10 is about perfect in pubs.

    Ah, BigBull brings up a good point. 6v6 is optimal for <i>clan</i> matches. Pubs can be somewhat larger wihtout the imbalance being so noticeable.

    Game balance becomes incredibly skewed in large games, but action wise you should have lots of fun, unless your sitting in the spawn queue for aliens =\

    I have noticed a 10vs10 game has brung multiple comeback and miracle games, and games that make NS what is today. Dramatic and fun.     Hmmm I always liked smaller games in cs (shorter rounds = less down time).

    For dod, big games on clan servers (where there's good teamwork and voice comm) really make you feel like you're a war.

    And what they said, ns balance gets borked in really small and really big games.

    However, as long as both teams work together they have semi-equal chances (maybe the marines have to work just alittle bit harder)

    IMHO I think 8 vs 8 is optimal for both clans and pubs.

    I agree. I only play on 20 player minimun servers. I find them the most fun.

    I play on 9v9 servers, anything below 6 players per team is whoribly unblanced, Marines definately benifit largely from more players, (slower alien res, more guns to kill the onos) and marines can just out spawn aliens with 3-4 ips.

    I usually play 12 v 12s. The Marines therefore have just as good a chance at winning as the aliens, and it really depends on who is Gorging/Comming and the skill of individual players. 6v6 pubs is just.. OMG ONOZ *humps armory*
