Cant click on primitive to do a rotate..
Hey all,

Don't know why it will not work any more but I use to be able to click on the bounding box of a primitive in x/y, side, & x/z mode and toggle between scale, move, and rotate.

things i tryied that didnt work:
- restart computer
- close editor, open editor

Anyone else know how to enable this again. I may have hit a short cut key to disable it but hell if i know what it is since it was definatly not on purpose.

Please help with this minor editor spoof, thanks.

I assume its in VHE. Make sure Steam isn't open, apparently that stops it from working (Who knows why, only Valve does in their infinite wisdom...)
If it doesn't work, try a new map file, see if that works, if not, just re-install the editor.

    Thanks fo the suggestion..

When i restarted steam wasn't open.. and i did open a new map.. really weird.

after like some 3 hours it was fine again... no clue why... just glad it's fixed.

also that openGL error i was prviously receiving on every shutdown of hammer dissapeared with it.

cosmic rays? static electricity? earths core magnetic break down? no clue why.. just know it works right finnaly.

I'm having the same problem dew times. I nearly always have steam on when I use hammer, so I'm not sure if it causes that. This far it has always helped to restart the computer. Usually if this happens I just use the tools/transform tool because I'm too lazy to restart.
