I want to have the avp2 textures in .jpg, .bmp, .tga or at best .wad format.

Is there any way to get them out of the game?
Already googld for them but couldnt find ****.

(Since I wont release the map there are no problems with copyright I think)

If I dont find the solution here I'll start running around in avp2 makeing screenshots of the walls :/

Use Wally. You can get the textures and save them into whatever format.

Just remember that you can't actually distribute the textures from avp without permission, so if you use them in your map... well, I'm sure you get where that's going.

Get the AVP2 editor open it up and you can export the textures from there but you will have to edit them in wally or photoshop. They are in a file that only the AVP2 editor can open.

    <b>Slith</b> : *sigh*..first the dropship then this..

I don't understand your theory - whats the point of making a map and not playing it with anyone? and to play it with someone you will have to distribute it..so therefore it will breach copyright... I don't understand ...

Made about 50 complete maps but never released one. I'm just too lazy and it's the mapping thats the funny part (: .

Well I guess you can redistribute it, at your own risk. It's been done before and not <i>all</i> of them got sued <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
Lithrez and a number of other AvP2 tools are included on the CD iirc. There is a patched version of the tools you may want to download, however.
