A Couple Of Skin-related Questions

Hello!
I really like NS, but the default skins are meh. Does NS use the original CS reload anims? If so, is there any way I could take my CS shotgun and put it in NS? If not, I have a skin request. Could someone skin a classic 1911A1 .45ACP for the pistol. If you need pictures please PM me and I can give you some of my own. If that isn't possible, can someone make some sort of tactical shotgun, one with no stock but a pistol grip and foregrip, preferably in black?
Thanks for any feedback,
Chad

no ns does not use cs animations. it uses ns animations. sometimes you will get a weapon that has the same animations in cs and ns, but usually you have to make a new one, or delete one, or change one. in the ns customization help subthread located here you will find tutorials on how to convert, model, mesh, skin, animate, and everything you need to know. you can also make a "[req] thread" for request. usually these requested models arent done, or even started, but sometimes they are. your best bet is to learn to model, skin, mesh, or animate and work with people to get what you want done.
and if you are wondering
model = creating shape of object
mesh = not sure how to word it but something like chopping up the model so the skin can be applied.
skinning = giving it color, and such. like a skin
animating = giving the object movement
I tried Milkshape but it looked like smeared Chinese to me... Thanks anyway guys.
skinmesh = chopping up the model bla bla
There is a way. It's a dirty process that doesn't always work, but it involves de-compileing the model, and re-naming the shotguns .SMD's to match the natural selection shotgun's .SMD's, and/or editing the QC file.
There are tutorials in the help section that cover the process more exactly, and if that's not enough, you're welcome to post a question in the help section above.
