Just got it
Fun game, but WAY too short. I got it around noon yesterday and finished it around 6:00 that evening. After finishing singleplayer I went on to multi... eh... the deathmatches arent that great, and SD, whatever it stand for, is so-so. Feels like a WWII counter-strike. I'm gonna have to try Heat of Battle....

Play it on the hardest difficulty setting
I just got it 3 days ago too
Pretty fun but as you said too short.
The multiplayer coudl have been SOO much better with
just a little bit of effort.
I never realised there were so many car chases in WWII until I played CoD.
The whole SAS idea was really appealing.
The Russian one just got repetative. Oh look a ruined building, oh look an MG-42, *dies*, *respawn*, Oh look another ruined building, Oh look an MG-42, *dies*, repeat ad nauseum

If you want SAS go play MoH.
The russian missions own! The scale of the battles is amazing and atmospheric
I love TDM online - the Moisin-Nagant ownz all!! Especially on the powcamp map, prone on the roofs heheh.
Only on the first 2 missions.
Then it gets crap.
And the tank missions sucked.
i'll second that
also the moment you take the nazi headquaters, heroic music in the background, standing on the roof watching the soviet flag being waved.. wow good ending IMO
Actually I thought they were pretty cool, but pretty **** that you could destroy so many German tanks so easy.
The British campaign was the crappiest, IMO the American and Russian campaigns was much much better. But the Russian campaign was the best of course, so cool to run up towards the Germans (on the first level) while the MG 42 bullets fly past your head.
But like most of the people mentioned here, the game was pretty short though, but you could always play on the harder difficulty levels.
Heat of Battle - HoB is very good and will be better in one week when the new patch comes out. They will fix the hit boxes so the game feels more like the Realism Mod. No more surviving a rifle shot in the center mass.
The Russian missions were intense and fun as hell, but for some reason I just couldn't get in to them like I did the American missions, I don't know why. That car chase in the Peugeot is friggin' awesome, but my favorite mission in the whole game is Brecourt.
I tried multiplayer and it was just more of the same really, reminded me a lot of regular Medal of Honor MP. I downloaded Heat of Battle, but for some reason it won't install correctly.
even had the best mulitiplayer game on that map, with, wait for it, TEAMWORK! yes its true

I'd have to say the best mission is Pegasus Bridge, but then I'd read the book about the real-life events there so my experience took on a whole new level of understanding and enjoyment. Plus Price has one hell of a 'tache.
And just to let you know- the lackluster MP was one thing they were actually aiming for. They wanted that for the CSers(they actually wanted to COPY HL MP wise), then let the rest of the people that know what REAL gaming is make mods and play mods. Thats why they made it EASILY scriptable.
GG.
I found it more fun to watch their bodies fly 20 feet in the air when I shelled them.

Check out their server, its total realism. Nothing like CS. There are no crosshairs, upped weapon damage (more like one shot kills), different run speeds, and you can bleed to death. They also have a teamspeak server, which makes it great.
And I remember one night when I snuck behind enemy forces and bashed 8 guys (out of the 15) to death with NO ONE noticing. Sneaking up on three other guys was just getting me pumped! And then I was chasing another guy, and whenever he crouched down (completly silent) I crouched, then when he ran, I ran. lol funniest and stealthiest thing ever, finally got to him and beat the crap out of him with my MP40.
Oh, and make sure you have 1.2 patch, and check out the website above. Its the *only* server I play on!
