on a similar note, there's this cool proggy, <a href='http://mywebpages.comcast.net/souplabel/pm/' target='_blank'>Pixel Monster</a>, that will turn a (preferably small) image file into colored ascii... it was designed mainly so that you could get images into your AIM profile, which is pretty neat. :>

A friend of mine brought in his laptop to school one day and showed me a demo for a program that does full 3D rendering and video in ASCII, forget what the name of it was though.
