<div class="IPBDescription">In Game Informaion if WRong!</div> I just realized this, but sometimes, the little help text. i forgot if it was the actual help test or the item information, but when i choose lerk bite, it showed information about spikes? It still says spike on my thing. Dont know if it was a problem with my installig 3.0 beta 3 or something.
Anyhow, anyone going to update the frontiersman thing on the fon tpage anytime soon? still stuck on babblerssss

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>The problem with a game like this is that updating all the story information and help explanations is a huge job. I think the original old manual is still up. Blink is still explained as maybe an optical illusion, or maybe a warp effect like phase gates, because the way blink used to work is that it would instantly zap you to your target when you used it. It wasn't really hit and run, it was used to get from one end of a long hallway to another. You used to quickswitch between acid rocket and blink because those were the first and second hive abilities, and run around on foot swatting people with your claws between shooting acid rockets at them and being redeemed. At least that was my experience.

Changing the whole story behind some of the attacks would be a pain at this point. Gorges have bilebomb now, for instance, and sensories cloak their surroundings. A bunch of stuff has changed since those manuals and help texts were written, so changing it now would be a monumental undertaking.

My prediction?

They'll fix them as one of the last touches before releasing Natural Selection for retail.</span>

Keep in mind that this is a beta release so it won't be perfect. As the previous poster said it is a pretty heavy task keeping everything up to date because of all the changes that happen.

It would take a whole 5 minutes to update the ingame tags. 10 at most. I'd be willing to do it.

they have more important things to worry about? ie balance, steams crappy lagging hitboxes..

Speaking as someone who did it a few times for the translation project, no, it isn't. Keep in mind that facts change all the time during development.
