<div class="IPBDescription">..noobish question? sorry</div> i put in the mapcycle in the mapcycle.txt and in the adminmod file maps.ini in exactly the order i want it.. yet, i just get the normal maps paying in the default mapcycle... any help?
Did you restart the server? Sounds like a typo, copy and paste your mapcycle.txt here (the adminmod one doesn't matter) and also a screen shot of your maps dir.
Also try loading the map manually with "changelevel mapname".
ok plesae.. dont take me for a noob... these maps have been on there for weeks now, and i have restarted server every time i installed a new plugin which has been quite a lot recently
this didnt just "start" happening. its been like this all along i uploaded plugins after this "started" happening. in other words, after the custom maps were uploaded
well I dont think there's anyone here that is going to instalntly know what your problem is but I do notice that you have a very large number of custom maps
Try removing all the custom maps except for 1, perhaps even remove all the standard maps from my mapcycle temporarily and see what it cycles through then?
Did you put the new map names in the maps.ini file properly? Adminmod does not understand NS' min/max settings, you need to strip that out and put only pure mapnames in there.
Just wondering , are you going to try any of the suggestions? It seems that you've run out of ideas and your pretty sure you've done everything right yet it still doesn't work. If you're just going to dismiss every idea as unlikely then we are all wasting our time trying to assist you find the reason for this problem.
