<div class="IPBDescription">Snif... I want this badly...</div> <img src='http://www.csnation.net/images/content/image_24876.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

<a href='http://www.csnation.net/content/sotd.php?id=4421' target='_blank'>http://www.csnation.net/content/sotd.php?id=4421</a>

I tried converting it myself but it came out screwed up. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I have some experience at converting P_, W_ and V_ models and I'm working on a private realism pack for my clan, and this is what it lacks.
So far I have Ankalar's M4 for the LMG, no SG, OICW for the HMG, Wannabe's Glock 17 for the HG bla bla bla... no GL either.

Anyway, I really want this one badly, since I'm tired of the Spec-Ops one... have them lying around since 1.0v of them!

Please?
Pretty Please? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    gimmie about 20 minutes ^_^

    it's a simple matter of taking the animations and re-arranging them.

    take hmg_look for instance. it's a blend of two (i believe) hmg reference animations. the hl engine then blends between the two extreems in direct relation to where the player is viewing. (so if some dude is looking up, but you're looking at the guy, you'll see the player model looking up, get it?)

    lemmie finish my smoke and i'll have this converted in no time at all <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    edit: one problem. seems like you have to pay a subscription fee to download the bloody thing (unless i'm a nub and clicked on the wrong thing....twice...)

    show me a mirror and i'll convert the model for you, otherwise you're SOL chum

    editx2: i am a nub ^_^ n/m, hold on and i'll convert...

    editx3: i hate my life...milkshape crashes every time i try and decompile the gign O_o

    god i hate my life <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> i'll keep trying though

    You're talking about Animation sequence right? Like switching the order in the QC? Use CS Anims?
    What I wanted was to use NS Anims on these models... oh and use kriasto's decompiler, much better than crappy milkshape's... its a plug-in and comes with it.
    Like I said, I tried bone reassignment and rescaling but it came fux0rz (like arms inside the elbows and such... )

    i haven't tested ingame, but in hlmv it looks tiptop, so good luck with it ^_^

    You're right, it does look tip top in HLMV. Nice work...
    Ingame it looks screwy though. They seem to be afraid that the sky might fall on them considering they're always looking up and at another direction other than me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    Nice try... oh, and when I tried to decompile it, it seems some knife animation messes with everything whenever I try to recompile... oh well... back to Spec-Ops <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    it appears that the blended animations are gone, it only has one animation per sequence, instead of the normal 2-3 that are blended together...

    True although I just checked the .qc and the .smds and while regular NS P models have 2 blends this one seems to have... 9 blends? And they're all the same one I guess... oh well. NT lad. not what I was looking for though <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Edit: It seems 6 to 9 Blends are CS regular... bleh.
    NS Is hardcoded to two blends... so the other 9 blends must be mixed or something like that...
    So convertion by sequence renaming and FPS is impossible or astonishingly buggy.
    The only way around it is bone reassignment to the NS skeleton, and that would be a pain in the **** <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    yeah i tried it. i think there's a girl up top or something and they can see up her skirt. ^_^

    i'm gonna try and figure out which refs are like 'bottom, middle, top' instead of having the 9 refs so that way it'll convert easier ^_^

    edit: minus easier, plus correctly

    You know, there's an actual CS pack for these. With a tad more variations, but just in the head, and the armpatches are changed to the politcally correct ones :P
