NS Is the actual game itself. Two teams, the Kharaa and TSA duke it out constructing buildings and gathering Nano-Sludge for resources. The TSA marines get a commander to command them about the maps and tech up. Both sides tech up, aliens getting more upgrades and larger lifeforms, the marines newer and more powerful weaponry.
Combat is... a frag-a-thon. You kill stuff. No thinking required. Its alot like an online training mission..
Well it (combat) can help you improve your aim with weapons, and also your skills for different alien classes. Especially since you respawn with all your stuff/evolutions.
