Hope this has been an enjoyable first post. Beta 1's BSP will be release shortly as I stomp out minor bugs and fix up the exterior of the map.

    just a side note, (the screenshots look awesome, btw) isn't anyone else bored by the same stock screens? I mean the monitors that always show the glowing blue scanning and other terminals... red, yellow, or purple terminals would add more personality, imho, especially since your doors are already partially red (nice effect)

    I don't like the hive room. Visually it's good, but how will it give cover for incoming skulks? IMHO, it's a too big open area.

    The detail looks good, and the overall map seems great.
    But the hive does look a tad bare or open. Try adding some detail, like a roof panel thats fallen off, or something.

    Does that door on the left side of the second shot open in 4 directions? Because if it doesn't, you should make it do that.     To the map! Nice Ferret, really detailed, carefully and colourfully textured with some good lighting to support.     It looks really nice on your computer, but it looks like you photoshoped a bit... still very nice looking map.



    Hopefully after you get some more playtesting done on this map it will really shine

    What I havent seen posted by all the others is... The red lights all over the place.
    They look weird in this bright environment and, if you ask me, are only supposed to be used in a dark environment with that integrated blurry overlay and all <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    The only mapper who, I think, has used them correctly until now is <b>blueman</b>, have a look to see what I mean: <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65700' target='_blank'><b>Linkage</b></a>

    ok here is the map beta. No the weldables DONT work. Yes the map WILL be improved. Nice job forlorn, but its alien biased atm.
