Hellboy!

My fiancee and I just watched Once Upon a Time in Mexico (GREAT movie), but before the movie, there was a trailer for Hellboy on the DVD! I've read a couple of the comics, but it's been a while and I dont really remember what it's about (other than some Nazi-raised hell-spawn gone good), but it looks like a great movie, and it's coming out in the beginning of April! I try to stay on top of what's coming out movie-wise, but I haven't heard anything for this movie exect for on this DVD. Nothing on TV or otherwise.. here's the website so you guys can check out the trailer. http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hellboy/

Been there. Done that. Many, many times. There's also a second trailer out, found exclusively at Yahoo Movies.

My friends and I all agree - Hellboy looks like the dumbest movie to come out in the past 10 years.

Everyone should go see Club Dread if you havent already. Not only is it funny, theres a big thing about Pacman. And thats all I'll say... I dont want to ruin it =D

BTW, in case you didn't know Once Upon A Time In Mexico is actually the third movie of its storyline. The second one, Desperado, is by far the best. The first one, El Mariachi, was Robert Rodriguez's first film. Its a low budget independant film entirely in Spanish (has English subs though), but its still quite good. You can usually find the first two on one disc, but if not you should be able to find at least Desperado no problem.

If you halfway enjoyed Once Upon A Time In Mexico you'll absolutely LOVE Desperado. :P

I actually preferred El Mariachi to all the rest of them. I've never been a huge fan of switching actors in stories though ^^;
The first film was less about crazy madcap action and more about sorta comedy. The lil mariachi wasn't a fighter, then all of a sudden in desperado he's badass banderas o.O

I know it kinda changed to being a full-out action flick from there but I preferred watching the character develop... having him go from normal joe to fully fledged assassin with no show and all tell just kinda stopped me enjoying it =/

okies so johnny depp is always worth bonus points to me (I've seen all 3) but major stars still don't cover for a lack of story =P
once apon a time in mexico was definitely fun to watch and because of desperado I'd already got used to having a different actor play the main char and that he was now an uber assassin with a nice bod instead of some ordinary joe who could barely aim a gun XD

I guess the 2nd film was the bump in the road really... after that I just enjoyed the ride again =3
I still prefer the first overall though ^~

Yea, I own the first 2 on DVD. Desperado is probably my favorite too (and has Steve Buscemi). It's kinda funny because you can tell that Rodriguez has a lot more money for the third one, so he just kinda plays around w/ it.
