hey,

while playing NS, my fps seems to be very jumpy. in one rooom i might have 100 fps, then i step into another and my fps shoots down to 60. this is very very annoying and makes my graphics look like crap. help would be nice, thx.

i have a geforce fx 5200
512mb ram
1.6gh intel processor

thx

If you make notes of where these spikes ha[[en you will probably knowtice them all hapening in the same areas.

This is b/c some of the new maps (CO mostly) still have some glitches in them (this is still a beta version)

The HalfLife engine mostly only renders what you can see on the screen, so the amount of work your computer has to do will vary depending on where you are or even which way you're looking. I have a 2.3 Ghz computer and even it has trouble maintaining a constant 100 fps in NS. If you want you fps to be constant you can either reduce your fps_max or reduce your graphics quality or resolution.

    WIAT A SEC!

    your complaining about 60 FPS?

    BAH!

60 is perfectly fine, if yah can't live with it, do as shadow said, just set fps_max to 60.
