Major WTH is going on. This has happened 2 times now on both maps, i have done but i cant see any major thing which would cause this.

I have read back and i have found related material but they didnt help.

Hmm, i know one thing which may or may not be related. I'm gonna go ahead and type it anyway, even if it's irrelevant. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

By not having the ns_ or co_ prefix when loading a map in the 3.0 beta, the first time you join a team you join where you should in the player class that you should, but the second time you do it you end up in spectator mode in the ready room, stuck in free look.

I presume you are using an ns_ or co_ filename prefix so this is pointless, but if you're not, this could be your problem.

yes i am, however at the start i just called it fun. Could this of been the problem later on down the track. Since then it has been renamed to the correct prefix.

Nah, this isn't the problem them. As far as i know NS checks the map filename on load and determines if it has the ns_ or co_ prefix (or none at all) and then chooses how the game should "act", based on it's initial results.

I was on a server one time and this started happening... We changed maps like 5 times with the problem still being there... So we just messed around with the easter eggs in some of the maps, eventually the problem just sorta fixed itself after awhile... I don't know what causes it but just keep trying.
