anyone have Unreal Tourny 2003? is it any good? as heavily modded as half life is? share opinions here plz, i (and i think many others) would like to know if its worth the $50

edit: im really interested about the mods, cuz i know i will get bored with the SP pretty fast, and the standard multiplayer

    The MODs for ut2k3 look pretty bad...

    UT2003 is *very* amazing for modding (have a look at the troopers mod!) It has everything a mod dev would want! the only problem with it is that not many people can run it....

    UT2K3 has a <span style='color:red'>***I am tolerant to all kinds of people***</span> CD-Check that is ever <b>worse</b> than BF1942. I would suggest you got it in a manner that dosen't require CD checks.....

    I'm going to wait and see how the mods turn out, what's thought of them etc.  then if I like what I see I'll get the game.  I'm not really much of a plain deathmatch fan...

    obviously there aren't as many mods for ut2003 as half-life yet as the game has only been out less than a month, and HL is going on 4 years old...

    but yeah it seems to be what a lot of mod makers are wanting to work with now. While the general public may still love half-life, all the new things you can do with UT2003 make the switch an easy choice if you are just starting a mod.
