<div class="IPBDescription">Well, almost... kinda... read anyway. :p</div>As some of you may or may not be aware, ns_eclipse is the first in an planned interlocked trilogy of Natural Selection maps. The remaining two, ns_kara and ns_valhalla, will take place on a freighter that aided in the evacuation of Eclipse Station and a starbase orbiting the planet, respectively. There's one problem, however. I don't have a name for the facility in ns_valhalla. The map name, rather than coming from the name of the station itself (as with Eclipse Station and the <i>Kara</i>), instead represents a general theme of what the map will be like.

So yes. I need some help coming up with a quality name for the orbital facility that will be featured in ns_valhalla. Suggesting silly names if fine, but I just won't use them. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> The best name will, um... be used. That's reward enough, right?

its going to be a node/hive right? if so, it would help for us to see pics of it and nearby area's...for me atleast then it'd be easier 2 think of a name!

maybe somthing along the lines of "Orbital Station Shiva", or "Cerebus"?

Or maybe some other Greek or Roman god/goddess name. They tend to fit well in Sci-Fi themes.

Well, the mapname is Valhalla so the station name should be from Norse mythology too.

Im thinking Thor, Odin, Loki or some other god

Or maybe some myth units like Valkyrie

Maybe weapons of the gods like Thor`s hammer Mjolnir or Odin`s spear Gungnir

Some events or places like Jotunheim, Ragnarok and Midgard

The Valhalla name is merely in concept... Station itself can really be about anything. I'm not sure I want to stick with the norse theme for that.

Station is just a general docking hub... mandatory stop upon arriving at or leaving from the planet.

KFS, so, you could say it serves as a gateway to/from the planet...hmmm... you could go a really obvious one which would be ns_colossus - as in the statue of the great warrior who stood at the entrance to the bay of some big greek city <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

or ns_titan - as in one of the family of greek mythology giants who saught to rule heaven but unfortunately got their ##### kicked...

ah, I got a good one... Nemesis. I dunno exactly why you'd have a station named that, but it'd be good if you themed the station with a foreboding-type feel. Maybe Nemesis could not only be a space-station, but an orbital weapons platform? Just throwing out suggestions
