Don't fret though, you're like me two years ago. Just practice. If you get bored in class a lot, bring a sketchbook and doodle in it (works for me). I go through like one a month. For proportions, look at your own body and you're classmate's bodies (just don't get caught looking lol). And look at other ppl's drawings.
