Awesome. The only thing I have to say is that if this game is just as violent as GTAVC, then the state legislatures will be all over it like flies on crap.

But then i stopped playing it, and when i tryed the series again i just found it boring... same thing over and over and over again (i'm on about the entire series not just one game btw)

I'm not trying to flame you Jimmeh, I just simply cannot comprehend your REASONS for disliking the game. If its level of violence and bloodshed offended you, I could understand that. If the idea of stealing cars and shooting police officers was completely idiotic to you, I can understand that.

I just can't understand how the game could be unexciting to you. Do you just not like ANY games, or is it just this one?

You have Hitman 3 concept art as your sig, so I'm gonna bet you like the Hitman series. So that kinda rules out you being against innocent bloodshed. But also, Hitman is about the same level of repeativeness (that is, its NOT repetative, and plenty open ended) as GTA is. Likewise, if you ignore the story, its just murdering as many people as you can (at least it is when I play :P). So it seems the same.

Again, I'm not flaming you. I am just simply trying to understand, cause right now its making my brain turn i circles.

    I just... don't... like it =X

I just find it boring and repetitive for some unknown reason.

I like Hitman series a bit, but not much and the only reason i've got the concept art in my sig is 'cause it looks good

No, we're putting you down with something along the lines of: "GTA is a fantastic game series that harks back to the glory days of putting fun first and foremost. The game gives the player a choice of what they want to do, whether it be serious plot-driven missions or simply driving around and setting your own groove. The soundtracks are lovingly chosen to stick you firmly in the era, with, may I say, not a 'bad' song to be found anywhere. Vehicle physics are tweaked to perfection, and the sheer volume of pop. culture references are both impressive and a joy to spot."

    You really are missing out.

But I digress and plug. I can't wait to get my hand on San Andreas. Once I get 100% on Vice City, that is.

    Aaaaaaaaayyyyyaaaaaa!!!!

    I INVENTED CAR-SURFING!!

Heck I even did it in GTA 2, where I would try to "Float" over Cars by jumping over them then trying to stay on them. GTA 3 was infinitely easier though...

Oh and Jimmeh, try to keep an open mind, just because they like it and they are arguing their point (WITH VALID REASONS AND LOGICAL THOUGH BTW NOT THAT "OMG!!11oneoneeleven" BS) does not mean you have to act like they are a bunch of illiterate morons...

GTA and Vice City both rule. A heap of playtime value coupled with an involving storyline, witty features and challanges ranging from stealing a tank from a military convoy to using radio controlled helicopters to blow up a skyrise. The only bad things about GTA: SA will be:

    1. PS2 only. Time to find me an emulator.

    2. Yet another GTA game for the soccer mums to go ballistic over. Actually this isn't really a bad thing; it's great fun watching them froth at the mouths and give the franchise even more publicity.

    3. Australia will still not have an R-18 rating for games, forcing me yet again to import or pirate an American copy of the game. I am NOT going to play GTA without blood and hookers.

Don't worry about the PS2 only thing. All the GTA games have been PS2 exclusive for a certain period of time, they would be completely insane not to port it (and thereby lose a mountain of cash). Sucks about having to import though... doesn't the Australian government realize that the vast majority of gamers are over 18/21?

Nice, another great GTA to get. Maybe Rockstar will get a clue a put MULTIPLAYER in this one when it hits a PC release. I know there's MTA, but there's just so many bugs here and there, it's at times just not worth it.

Why are you people acting like the PS2 thing is anything new? GTA3 was that way, so was Vice City. You're having kittens over old news...

I read about this a few months ago in PSM, rumors say it will be set in the 60's in a Vegas style setting. Sounds like super.

On the subject of car surfing: you guys are nubs. Get on top of a gang car and make another gang car go ka-splode. The one you are on will try and run you over.

Easily the most offensive, and hilarious, thing you can do in GTA: VC is to get a ****, bang her in a dark alley for health, let her out, then run her over for the money you spent on her. Thats just ace.

No. They actually don't realise it. Our government is stuck in the 1950's. Also, they have this belief that games are too interactive to be given an R rating.

Which of course means that we pirate the R rated games like crazy.

hmm this one is gonna be set in the 60's? If it's true, that's all well and good, but were there enough cool vehicles in the 60's? hopefully the ability to drive a hippie bus will outweigh the lack of other cool vehicles...

Every single game has the same point. Either drive/fun/fly and shoot stuff to kill it. Easy as that.
