<div class="IPBDescription">The patch that wont go away!</div> Alright, I downloaded the NS beta 3 patch again. One of the downloads screwed up midway but it copied the incomplete file to my desktop.

I clicked on the incomplete one by accident (ahhhh) and now it cant be removed. It isnt running in my task menu and I have already tried rebooting.

The last time I seen windows behave like this was with windows ME

Heres a screenie

    This might help.

Go to CMD, by going to run, than typing "CMD"
Than type in del "C:\Documents and Settings\Xodlike\Desktop" Except replacing Xodlike with your real username. And make sure you put it into CMD the whole thing, including del, and the quotes.

Simply reboot. Don't worry, it won't load again when windows starts

If it still is there, you might want to do some registry h4xing to fix it.

Try rebooting to safe mode, opening the command console and typing "del ns_v30_b3_patch.exe /F". The /F switch forces deletion of read-only files.
