Well...some ideas to throw around in any of your excelent maps..i cant map worth a ####, but oh well.
1.Resident Evil-The Movie type train, the docking platforms to, make it look cool, go a bit slow, and move every 2 minuites. Trams work very good NS, look at Pnumbra.
2.Dropships- Okok your going to say PSHAAAAAAA wont work!!! I have a few ideas how to make it work.
Insted of the entire ship taking off, make it on an elevator. The dropship will have doors that open and close, no windows. When someone hits the doors, they close, then the elevator starts. (the marines will think they will be taking off) Give it a little env_shake and some takeoff sounds for effect. When it hits the lower level, make the part of the roof close where they enter, and BAM, they all empty into a marine secondary base with a CC and spawn from there. The first level will be above the secondary base, and a big tunnel with the elevator with the dropship coming down on it. Make it look like a hanger, the hanger they empty into make it look dark, scratched, some crates tumbled over.

why? cause, their too small. maps are a WHOLE SPACE STATION, usually not a single ship.
"A typical configuration will have all ready room doors start open and with this name. The map can also have a door that seals off the marine start area (a dropship, or a ground extrance that an APC just drove through, etc.) from the rest of the map. This door can start closed and be named "gamestartedstatus" as well. When the game starts, the ready room doors will close and marine door will open, letting them into the main area. This allows the aliens some extra time to get situated and possibly to lay traps or build emplacements before the marines arrive."
In short, a delay is OK if it doesn't allow the aliens to totally rape the marine base before they even show up.
