"What really suprises me is that violent games can be the cause of this whole ordeal. For example, the game counter-strike is a video game which uses real life weapons and players can go into God-Mode and kill innocent civilians in the game (WHERE THE HELL DID HE HEAR THIS?!?!?!?). Also, there are games that also uses real life weapons on innocent civilian, such as this blonde female civilian that was just killed in this game with a sniper gun, The suspect may and can be by the age of 15 years old..."
Ok... one thing... when i saw this, I saw them only take a picture of a Counter terrorist killing a hostage... GOD... they probably made that FREAKEN video of that! Damn ########, they only show the bad part of the game that is only 00.1% of the game... the rest is either going up against an enemy force (example counter-terrorist vs. terrorists)... They didn't even play the game obviously, or they would be addicted to the game like osama binladen is! I don't know how many times i beat him when he was terrorists

WTF? I think they spawned as a terrorist and thought they had to kill people standing about in the town. ( they probably just played alone on italy to and shot the chickens also ).
made me remember the movie SEALS with Charly Sheen where there was a Seal Sniper with the callsign "God"
i hardly think the sniper got the idea from CS or any other online game.....Godmode == H4xor!

This is just another example of the media finding a convenient scapegoat for acts the majority of us would find hard to justify or understand..games=this years victim...

Instead of reporting the news like they should, they set out to create it for the ratings.
"Videos games made the sniper flip out?! Omg, which chanel did you see it on?" and so forth.
Its all circumstantial evidence. They have no proof of anything they say and the only good to honest connection they can make between CS and the sniper is obviously the weapon. Well ... hello? Rouge Spear, Max Payne, Battle Field, AMERICAS ARMY - countless other examples all feature sniper rifles and even more actually have a good to honest god mode.
They just picked the most famous game that all the kids play and jumped to a conclusion. They dont know the age of this person. Anyone think a <b>15 year old kid</b> could possibly do all of this without being noticed? Has access to a rifle such as this? Is around people who wouldnt turn him in?

I'm putting my money on late 20's to late 30's. Some kind of military training. Hell, perhaps even a terrorist, who knows?
One thing I want to point out is they blame violent video games and such- but never sports. What about football.. the guy with the ball gets smashed by the opposing team- people cheer to watch one team pulverize the other. Can we say BOXING? Or how about Wrestling? (despite is fakeness). The gun is just a tool- the violence is universal.
Scapegoat.. d### straight it is.
i think violent video games are good. they let you let out your anger smearing some one on-line thats not real. with out that i dont think i could make it through one more day of school
