try to find some better refs, mostly work on the back of the slide, make the slide less of a box, fix the aimsight (they're totally wrong) ...
anywayz, a pic says more than 1000 words <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

here it is
well this was my first model made withouth any tutorial and made it in 3 hours :S what would you ppl expect
PS : it seems im a box lover
Don't want to sound rude, but u might wanna start over <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
the Slide is the upper part of the pistol, the one that goes back each bullet u shoot.
Not everything u make has to be meshed and animated, just make some more, and when you get to something u think is good enough, ask someone to mesh it.
We all started like that too, well, sorta, so keep modeling and u'll get better i can promise you.
PS: first model made without any tutorial ... not the first model ever

This is an ejection port, it's where the bullets come out. <b>Make sure to put it on the left side of the gun</b>
