Trouble Execing Configs

<div class="IPBDescription">bloody steam..</div> Now I have three configs, Alien, Marine, and the default config. Now I have bind "z" "exec Alien.cfg" and bind "x" "exec Marine.cfg" plus I have all three cfg's set to read only, so some evil admin cant write over them. Anyways for some reason it wont let me exec my configs, I enter a game to test them out and I press x to exec my marine config, but in the console it doesnt say(like it did in ns 2.01 etc) execing config, or some sort of indication that I exec'd my config. I think it might be some how connected to steam?. So if any of you guys could help me out in getting my configs to work I would be grateful.

hmm interesting, I think I found the problem. The game doesnt look at the configs in the ns folder at all. It looks at a config in the folder "nsp". Well hope that was help to some other people, so they dont have to go through what I was going through lol. Hopefully I can get it working now

I had the same problem. Well, my autoexec configs weren't execing. Strangely enough, I found they worked if I put them in .../steam/.../valve/ rather than .../steam/.../ns/

the ns3.0BETAS will be installed to "nsp", as it's not yet finally released, it will install itself into ns when it's being released.
