5) He said 'Next time I'm going to break your arm'. Sounds to me like this guard has had run-ins with these street punks before, and sounds even MORE like there was more to the video then meets the eye.
The guard was perfectly within bounds, and that kid didn't get nearly as pummeled as he deserved. Furthermore, the guard was perfectly within bounds at trying to take the camera, as it was on company property as well. The video wouldn't stand up in court at all.

You're right you're no lawyer, because the law is never 100% clear on anything, that is why they have trials, and that's why people file charges and that's why there are trials. And since you don't know about this you should stop saying "The security guard was 100% right", because the only duties constituted to a security guard is to keep the premisis from being damaged or burglarized, and not with force. Unfortunatly most rent-a-cops are total dips and dont' even know how to do their own jobs, to be "100% right" in this case the security gaurd would have had to called the police, reported the crime, told the kids to stay put until the cops showed up, if they didn't give the police a description and have them taken in for questioning.
Now stop trying to sound smart, we all know you're just a troll.
PS: hidden cameras can and are used in court, they are called circumstantial evidence and it is up to the judge whether or not they are permitted.
Case and point, in the Kobe trial he was secretly recorded talking to police, the defense asked to have the evidence thrown out and the judge ruled to keep it in.

Talking to police and having it recorded is like saying that you don't want the stenographer in court to record your testimony. "Everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Maybe you forgot that? If he wasn't under arrest at the time, the evidence in there can still be used, just not for testimony purposes by the DA. A cop doesn't need to have a warrent to pull a gun out of your car, a cop doesn't need a warrent to talk to a suspect. A wiretap by a private individual <b>is</b> illegal.

You know, whatever you say... but making idle threats on a forum while bragging about **** size is downright silly.
When someone on a forum, or in a game gets angry and says 'OMG IM GOING TO HACK YOU, DELETE YOUR FILES, YOU ASKED FOR IT OMG!' do I believe them? Pft, hell no, he probably couldn't 'hack' his way through his own registry. But there's not a damn difference between that guy threatening to hack me (because I don't know if he can hack or not) and a guy saying he owns a class 3 gun lisence and every assault weapon ever made. Neither of them can, or usually will prove the claim, so there's not a single reason in the world to believe them. Which is why I simply said it's stupid to make threats like that on a frickin' forum.
If you think I insulted your 16" manhood in some way, or your Ferarri, your 80,000 square foot house in La Jolla, or your 18 year old supermodel girlfriend, then go ahead by all means prove me wrong with some actual proof, but stop making claims you won't back up with anything more then "OMG U SUK EEK I R GUNNA CUT UR FAEC!"

TBH, I think the skateboarders just scored a few notches higher on the IQ scale then some of you: they aren't hiding behind some private alias 1,000 miles away, most likely making up lies to seem tougher then they actually are.
1) You didn't see the whole video. I'm betting money that the guard told him to leave before and he didn't (you don't actually see him skateboarding, what a surprise. I'm betting any money that he was grinding on the rails and edges, which is vandalism as it ruins the stonework), and he probably flipped him off, telling him '**** you, you don't tell me what to do.' Did you ever see that apache video? There were two clips. The long one which showed the weapon, and the clipped one which was edited which was clipped down ONLY SO PEOPLE WOULD COMPLAIN THAT IT WAS BARBARIC.
2) The kid is an ****. I went through high school, I know exactly what this group is. "I'm a skateboarder, I'm a REBEL, I'm <b>HARDCORE!</b>" He deserved exactly what he got, and so do most other skateboarders who feel they can do whatever they want whereever they want. Frankly, I wished the guard threw him a second time, and pinned him, just pummeling him.
3) The kid swung first.
4) Video recording someone who doesn't want to be recorded is 100% illegal.
5) He said 'Next time I'm going to break your arm'. Sounds to me like this guard has had run-ins with these street punks before, and sounds even MORE like there was more to the video then meets the eye.
The guard was perfectly within bounds, and that kid didn't get nearly as pummeled as he deserved. Furthermore, the guard was perfectly within bounds at trying to take the camera, as it was on company property as well. I'm no lawyer but the law in this case is 100% clear: <b>video recording of a person, or of private property without permission is illegal.</b> This is why Dateline's hidden cameras cannot be used as evidence in a court.

You're right you're no lawyer, because the law is never 100% clear on anything, that is why they have trials, and that's why people file charges and that's why there are trials. And since you don't know about this you should stop saying "The security guard was 100% right", because the only duties constituted to a security guard is to keep the premisis from being damaged or burglarized, and not with force. Unfortunatly most rent-a-cops are total dips and dont' even know how to do their own jobs, to be "100% right" in this case the security gaurd would have had to called the police, reported the crime, told the kids to stay put until the cops showed up, if they didn't give the police a description and have them taken in for questioning.

PS: hidden cameras can and are used in court, they are called circumstantial evidence and it is up to the judge whether or not they are permitted.
Case and point, in the Kobe trial he was secretly recorded talking to police, the defense asked to have the evidence thrown out and the judge ruled to keep it in.

Talking to police and having it recorded is like saying that you don't want the stenographer in court to record your testimony. "Everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Maybe you forgot that? If he wasn't under arrest at the time, the evidence in there can still be used, just not for testimony purposes by the DA. A cop doesn't need to have a warrent to pull a gun out of your car, a cop doesn't need a warrent to talk to a suspect. A wiretap by a private individual <b>is</b> illegal.

Most of us probably could, I not being one of them, we're not pimply guys with pocket protectors and tape around our glasses. We're just like everyone else, just we like Video Games and like to talk about things on a Forum. You know, because it's a lot cheaper/easier.

Like I said, 'put up or shut up'. I don't believe anything I read off of a tabloid, written by people who actually have jobs with the company, pictures, and a publication that costs them money to make, what the hell would make a FORUM have more credibility then the <i>Enquirer</i>?. You can squat 400? Bull, unless you want to provide a few pictures. Out of the few dozen to post in this thread, surprise, about 30% of them are 6'6" or taller?
Working in a customer service center, seeing hundreds of people a day, and only two people all day are as tall as me or taller (and usually by only a couple inches) makes me blow the 'BS' whistle on THAT one. But okay, maybe you ARE 6'8". That's pretty damn impressive, that's abnormally huge. You know, whatever you say... but making idle threats on a forum while bragging about **** size is downright silly.
When someone on a forum, or in a game gets angry and says 'OMG IM GOING TO HACK YOU, DELETE YOUR FILES, YOU ASKED FOR IT OMG!' do I believe them? Pft, hell no, he probably couldn't 'hack' his way through his own registry. But there's not a damn difference between that guy threatening to hack me (because I don't know if he can hack or not) and a guy saying he owns a class 3 gun lisence and every assault weapon ever made. Neither of them can, or usually will prove the claim, so there's not a single reason in the world to believe them. Which is why I simply said it's stupid to make threats like that on a frickin' forum.
If you think I insulted your 16" manhood in some way, or your Ferarri, your 80,000 square foot house in La Jolla, or your 18 year old supermodel girlfriend, then go ahead by all means prove me wrong with some actual proof, but stop making claims you won't back up with anything more then "OMG U SUK EEK I R GUNNA CUT UR FAEC!"
(And BTW, martial arts usually doesn't mean that much... just because you're in a ju jitsu class doesn't mean you can kick holes through brick walls, disarm four guys with assault rifles while dodging bullets, and fly through the air shooting lightning out your ****, all it means is that... you know ju jitsu. I took a sabre fencing class and did it for two years. Does that mean I'm going to take a sword, do a flying kick into a room, then waste 100 guys with guns? No, because I'm only mediocre with the sabre.)
I like how at the end they're asking 'Are you okay' and he sorta goes 'Uhh...duhh...'
