what's with the deal of being tall? Does it really matter?
I'm huh 1 meter 80 last time I checked and Im 16 Oh and I'm nearly a head taller than both my parents, and a couple centimeters taller than my big brother
I'm 180 cm tall (5' 11") and it's a good height. I wouldn't mind getting slightly taller, but since I'm close to being 20, I don't stand many chances, do I?
But really, being tall isn't great, as some people already said. I know a few people, who are taller and they don't go celebrating over it.
By the way, there's a math teacher at my previous school, who has to be (by my judgement) at least 230 cm tall (7' 7") and let me tell you, there are those huge, gothic doors... He has to bend down, to go under the frame.

On a serious note, height really is largely genetic. As has been mentioned, there are things you can do to make yourself slightly taller, but you really won't be able to go very far beyond whatever height your genes say you're going to be.
If you do suddenly shoot up, one piece of advice; never jump down stairs where the ceiling comes down to meet the level of the ground floor at the bottom. Ouch.

males actually stop growing at 23, and the best way to ensure growth is to get 8+ hours of sleep becuase your bones grow when there is reduced weight on them [i.e. lying down]
