<div class="IPBDescription">Real time strategies!</div> Recently, I got a gameboy advance sp as a present. I'm thinking that most of the games suck, but then I done started thinking "what if there were some really nifty real time strategies for gba?". I'm probably gonna get the Zelda games, and some rpg's, but what I really want are some real time strategies. Any suggestions?

They should make Starcraft and Warcraft for gameboy just for me.

    Advance Wars 2.

Not exactly a typical RTS, though. Very intresting sometimes, I own it myself.

Not RTS games, but games that you should own anyway:

    Metroid Zero Mission
    Metriod Fusion
Metal Gear Ghost Babel (aka Metal Gear Solid) (Gameboy Color)

GBA is king of the "tactics" games, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (which seemed cool, but I couldn't get into it) and Fire Emblem (Excellent) are two goodies. The Sword of Mana game looked very good, unfortunately I haven't been able to play it enough for a good review, and Mario & Luigi's Superstar Saga is a great little game (but not RTS).

trust me, you DON'T want to play an RTS on a hand held... shuders at the thought of even trying to play an RTS without a mouse.....

But yah, the Turnbased Strat games reign king on the GBA ATM.

    AdvWars 1 and 2
    Fire Emblem rocks hard
    Onimusha
there are a few other cool one also (though I can't remember atm)

FFTACTICS FOR GBA BITES! don't waste your money on this game. Basicaly FFT Was an ok game, then they made the GBA version and removed just about everything that made it good.

    As for action games:
    Metriod Fusion
    Metroid Zero Mission
Castlevania - Circle Of The Moon
    Castlevania - Aria Of Sorrow
(dont bother with Harmony, it realy isn't good)

    for RPGS:
Golden sun 1 and 2 are GREAT!
MegaMan Battle Network is actauly realy fun.

There is also an interesting game out there:
    CIMA The Enemy
It has elements of RTS, Action, and RPG
Your basic job is to lead a bunch of people from point A to point B
You control the fighter types and have to protect them and solv puzzles (the people you protect have skills that can hlep you out also)

For the love of god and all his greatness DO NOT buy The Sims for the GBA. It's torturously addictive!

I don't think you're going to find any actual RTS games on the GBA; if they can't do it on XBOX, PS2, or Gamecube (and believe me, they've tried) they aren't going to shove it into something that doesn't even have those little analog sticks.

Advance Wars 2 is good fun though.
