    For every single map that I have played, there are a bajillion ladders. And SO many oni get stuck on the top, or trying to jump off the top.

    I have never gotten stuck, since I ALWAYS duck with ANY ladder ANYWHERE. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Also, if you want to master the fade (Or just have some fun!) bind a key to "lastinv" (Preferably someplace close.. right control for arrowkeys, q for wasd), blink around the map, go towards your target while holding attack, hit Q, and although you won't play the animation, you'll generally attack and hit anyway. Hit Q again, and you'll fly off into the distance.

    NOTE: This works better in 60-110 pings. Because then the adrenaline bar from the server and client allow you to blink almost infinately.. REALLY infinately with adren. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    As a hive 2 fade, get Carapace and Celerity. Carapace allows you to stay in a fight longer and celerity allows you to get to your target quicker. I find I never need Adrenaline as a fade because of metabolize giving energy. Remember you can metabolize mid blink to give you enough energy for another blink. However, as a hive 1 fade, get regen. Weapons are probably unupgraded and you don't have metab to heal yourself.

    Practice using leap with a skulk. You can easily switch from leap to bite without using lastinv or a script. It's much more efficient to close the distance with a lightning fast leap than it is to run along the floor right into gunfire. ALSO you can leap out of a jump, so a sideways jump and a leap can seemingly make the skulk turn in mid-air.

    Gorge webs. I always seem to run into people who don't know how to use them, ending up with webs on the walls no marine will ever walk into. The web will stretch from the first wall you hit to the next if there is a clear path. A series of single webs is MUCH more effective than a big mass in one area. Also practice webbing a stationary target. Hit the wall above/behind them and the floor infront of them. The web will pass through them and they'll be re-webbed. Don't spaz or you'll use all your webs in the area on useless spots.

    Onos/Fades. Keep an eye on your armor, not your hitpoints. If your armor is gone, you'll be killed pretty quickly. In combat it's not such a big deal, but in classic NS, getting one HA kill at the expense of an onos when there are other HA's around isn't a good trade. Celerity Onii are dine and dash kings.

    Hint 1: Lastinv is effected by lagg were as changing ur weapon using hud_fastswitch and then the number keys has client side prediction which makes it a lot quicker and fairly lagg free if your on a dodgy connection.

    Hint 2: Leap + Silence > Cloak + Focus (as a skulk of course)

    Good setup for fade when 2 hives are up (in my opinion anyway..) carapace u can take much more damage and of course adren if mc and dcs that is and heal with meta. If you got dc sc you get cara and focus or cloak.

    Throw you weapons if your getting hunted by onos if you only got lmg and pistol that is, you will get a slight speed bonus.

    Use grenades check often if you got em.

    All for now i think maybe they have been said before dident check.

    dunno if it's been mentioned already but..
    wiggle while you walk!
    as marine if you do something similar to a fast bunnyhop withou the jump but while pressing forward as marine you will gain extra speed!
    go forward, strafe left while turning left, quickly do the same with right, repeat!
    very useful!
