did u remove ur old ones first then? i think u put them in the wrong folder, but im sure u know they go in 'vox'.
not that yours is bad
<b>TOMMYTANK</b>:
Acutally, I'm pretty sure that they go in your "player" folder inside the "sound" folder.
<b>Dillinja</b>:
That's funny. See, they used to be much louder. I wonder, do you usually use speakers? They seemed really loud with my headphones when more than three or four HAs were in a room together, so I compressed the amplitude.
Anyway, I just went back, increased the volume, and extended the length. Please let me know if these are too loud now!

[EDIT] oops, forget that, i was mixing myself up with the 'arnie soundpack' thread. my mistake. soz!!
i meant that its a bit too bassy i mean the old one has a very noticable amount of high tones.
SUGGESTION:
add a sound of a hydraulic to it after the wooommpp
example:
<a href='http://www.sounddogs.com/previews/32/mp3/317344_SOUNDDOGS_Li.mp3' target='_blank'>HYDRAULIC SOUND</a>

hm I had the idea of hacking together the sounds of the hydraulic to the other "heavy" sound that was already released by someone here at the forums...
wonder what the result will be <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I tried mixing some hydraulic sounds, Dillinja, but I couldn't get the timing right. No matter what, the game starts playing each footstep at the same rate, so anything longer than half a second or so gets some bad overlap.
Give this latest one a shot in-game. It's my favorite so far.
And to think i just watched Aliens again last night!
Now all we need a true power loader HA model... hmmm
/me opens up Max
